Returned to Wholesale Domestic at Hillington on Friday after purchasing my bathroom suite 4 years ago. The customer service and knowledge then was outstanding and delighted on my return visit for a replacement shower head and toilet set the knowledge and customer service has remained outstanding.

Ian on the desk was extremely helpful and the young gentleman from stores who bought the goods out is also very customer focused.

Leaving your store I always feel like a valued customer.

Dreadful customer service . Delivery turned up without notification and brought a huge wall panel I had not ordered . Customer services were very unhelpful , did not apologise and would not uplift telling me to dispose of it. It is a 2.4m wall panel which I will have to cut up and drive over to the dump to get rid of it all at my effort and expense. When I pointed this out coupled with the fact they did not even politely apologise for their mistake and offer to put it right, I was met with silence. This is the worst customer service I have ever had.

After receiving the wrong size basin I was disappointed and geared up to leave negative feedback but was blown away by the speed and no quibble replacement turnaround.
Excellent response from customer service agent and rapidly resolved.

Placed an order - all items showing 3-5 day delivery.

Received an email stating that the delivery was delayed - replied to the email but got no response back.

Chased multiple times via the phone - each time being given another delivery date and an apology...every date passed with no delivery and no communication from the company.

Requested a cancellation/refund as the order wasnt delivered, and was required for a job. Was advised that the purchasing team didnt work weekends, so would be processed the following Monday.

Almost 3 weeks later, no sign of any communications from the company confirming the cancellation, no refund, and no items from the order. Called again, only to be told that there is no progress, and that the process of cancellation would need to be started again, passed to the purchasing team again, and that the refund would take another 3-5 days..."the cancellation may not have been passed through, or may have been lost or ignored".

Requested that the issue be escalated, only to find that no managers were available, as they were all in a meeting - despite the customer services member already speaking to a manager for advise...convenient!

As a new customer, I wouldn't use the company again for remote orders or recommend them to colleagues - in store service may be different?

Our bathroom suite arrived in double quick time.it was packaged really well and everything was perfect.The quality is fantastic and very well made,cant wait to have it installed....Thankyou.

Edinburgh Branch ..... We can not recommend the superior customer service, given by ALL especially Aiste and Sean highly enough. The in depth knowledge, products, quality, problem solving skills were excellent. (along with the price and range of products!). Everyone was exceedingly helpful and nothing was a problem ......despite our problematic bathroom project!! Which Sean kindly sorted for us. They were all so kind, whether the products were delivered and the ones collected in store (they kindly lifted/carried for us). It has been years since we have been so impressed with a company's customer service. Thanks to all the team and after all our research with bathrooms ..... I ordered a full new suite with wholesale Domestic for my bathroom, while in the store I had to speak with 3 different people which is fine because I understand people are busy. After choosing exactly what was wanted, sizes colours of absolutely everything the order was placed. Order was collected by a hired van and stored away for fitting, when it came to fitting it was discovered that we were given all the wrong items total opposite to what we had discussed and choose. I spoke to a girl that informed me that they could exchange but we would have to bring the items to the warehouse ourselves as they don’t have a courier service (later I found out in fact they do). After being in a absolute panic of how to get a van quickly to take it back over for an exchange, our bathroom fitters kindly offered to do this as they were fitting it that day and if it wasn’t exchanged that day they would need to move to their other jobs holding us back longer.

The fitters went over to exchange and by this point I had spoke with 3 different girls (even tho I asked for the same person each time) to clarify exactly what was needed only for them to come back with main items missing, So as you can imagine the stress and anxiety i have at this time as I’m having to deal with all of this while at work was not ideal. I had to then finish work, collect my daughter and head over myself to collect the missing part, to say the drive home with this big part in my car was unsafe was an understatement!!!

I was really disappointed in the full experience dealing with wholesale domestic bathrooms and I am actually still awaiting a phone call from the manager whom I first requested to speak to on the offset and maybe it wouldn’t have turned into this farce.

We came in a few times and spoke to a sales person called Sylvia, with her help we were able to buy everything that we needed. This was done easily and without any pressure. Sylvia was due to retire so hope all went well for her.
The delivery of our bathroom was made by 2 chaps who went out their way to help and spit items so they were easy to find..
We decided to buy another unit again we were served by Sylvia and the process of how to pick up this item was 1st class with the unit waiting for us by the time we drove over to the pick up point and brought out to our car for us. I would recommend wholesale domestic to anyone.

Needed a small shelf for bedroom and came across this one from WDBS.

It was pricey but was the size we wanted, so went ahead and ordered.

Kept informed on progress and delivery was on time. Certainly not disappointed with the product. Very well made, good weight and sturdy so was worth the extra cost.

Excellent staff and efficient service

Ordered two bathroom suites, delivery day come and they delivered most of the items, however they also delivered an additional shower screen. They called me to ask when I could make myself available for them to pickup the item they delivered in error. Though I better check my order as I didn't have time to check it post delivery as I had to attend my grandsons sports day, it's been three year since they have had a sports day due to covid, anyway checked my order and discovered a toilet missing, a radiator missing and an end panel was the wrong size. Spoke to customer service who had a terrible attitude, took the details of what was missing and, said they would call me back, they didn't. Went back into the branch I placed the order and discussed it with the young lady who took my order initially who was excellent. She reordered what was missing and owned the problem. She refunded the delivery cost to me a a gesture of good will. Anyway having spent 5 hours trying to sort this out i asked for some compensation given the time and effort I had put in to sort out there incompetence, got a call from a manager who said they dont do that type of thing, REALLY. They balls the delivery up and the bottom line is they want me to make myself available to allow them to pick up the kit they delivered in error which had been checked by the delivery driver who said everything was there. I wouldn't recommend these guys at all as once they have the order in place unless it goes to plan your on your own unless you can get as I did the person who sold you the kit in the first place to take up the mantle.

Online order was fine and the store called to offer a cheaper shower unit as the one I ordered was out of stock.

Delivery however, has a been a complete nightmare!!

Delivery arrange for week or two past and I was told at last minute its curb side only, being 5 months pregnant I wasn't exactly able to carry a toilet up to the apartment. Delivery rearranged for the following Friday. I wait around all day only for it never to appear and the staff in customer services to be able to offer no help whatsoever. When I called the agents give me wrong finish times for the their delivery provider causing me to wait an extra hour on top in empty apartment with no toilet.

Emailed on Monday and just a response to say they will chase up the delivery company. Now midday on Tuesday and still non the wiser as to where my bathroom is. This wouldn't even be such an issue if they would deliver up the 12 steps to apartment but curb side delivery means I need someone around to assist.

I have fitted out two flats from this company and this will be the last purchase from them as this service is absolutely shocking.

Total rip off ,they were charging Vat on there one of delivery payment, when I pointed this out they said it wasn't but that would mean they charged me 24.5% Vat which is wrong as it's 20%, to which they then admitted it was on the delivery payment,they also informed me my items were out of stock so I couldn't order them anyway,but web site didn't have a problem with my order ,but I didn't proceed with my order as I will never order from this company again ?,easy enough to shop elsewhere ? please check your order details and charges before you pay .
